Yesterday I downloaded the cheapest Software I could find to unlock my Iphone and guess what!?

Believe it or not… well, I can’t believe it by myself but the other day I donated $5 for Barack Obama.

My mom said I’m crazy since I’m broke and that there are people with much more money out there, but I feel good about it.

I like Barack’s message of  including the people, telling them that they can contribute more than a vote in November, that it’s worth it to be a teacher, a nurse or a community worker and not to give up.

Mr. Obama has the ability to make people excited about their future and that’s very important. That’s actually what I need for myself right now.

A lot of people feel he really cares for the country and for them. Watching his interviews on videos or on Letterman – he seems like a good person. If he would live in Astoria I would hang out with him.

I’m happy that I have an American passport for being able to live here without a Greencard or a Visa but that is it…  If I’m asked “what” I am I tell people that I’m German. Of course that is because I grew up in Germany but within the last 20 years as an American in Europe, there was nothing to be especially proud of…..

If Barack Obama would make it, I would be proud to say: “Yes, I voted for him as well!”

For me Obama stands for what America stood for in the past: For Hope, Change, Excitement, for a better Life. I would love to be a part of that.

Of course the suspicious German in me tells me that a campaign has to be more than a cool will.i.am support video and a lot of hits on somebodys myspace but I looked into his program and it’s approved by me;) To be honest, I like Hillary as well, I just don’t think that she’s an alternative for voters in the South.
